eYouth Curriculum

The eYouth curriculum has three major components:

  1. General knowledge of the Internet -- how it works, how it is used, how it is transforming society, business and community relationships
  2. Specific knowledge of tools, including HTML scripting, HTML-editing software such as Dreamweaver, and graphics software such as Fireworks
  3. Applied business skills needed to create web-based solutions, including needs assessment, solution design, project management, and quality assurance

The Carole Robertson Center for Learning's curriculum is available for use by other agencies or academic institutions. The first "seminar" of eYouth is now complete; copies of the curriculum are no longer available on the web, but copies are available upon request.

"Seminar 2"

Session 1: Introduction to Fireworks

Session 2: Working with Objects

Sesson 3: Working with Text and Color

Session 4: Applying Effects
