Lesson Fourteen:
Sharpening Effects

Sharpening

To select the sharpen effect, click on the drop down box by selecting the arrow next to "None." You will see a series of options:

Choose "sharpen" -- you will then have the option of choosing sharpen, sharpen more, or unsharpen mask. The unsharpen mask enables you to more precisely apply sharpening effects. For purposes of this lesson, we will stick to "sharpen." Select "sharpen"

When you select sharpen, Fireworks automatically applies the sharpening effect for you. To sharpen the object further, you can select "sharpen more."
